ALAQ was created around a simple idea: true elegance begins with how you feel within yourself, before it becomes something others can see.
WHY ALAQ?
ALAQ Means Radiance.
In Arabic, ALAQ — ألق — describes radiance, brightness and a presence that carries its own light.
We chose the name because we wanted ALAQ to represent more than appearance. To us, radiance is first something a woman recognizes within herself — in her confidence, composure and sense of who she is.
A radiance that is not simply seen — but felt.
OUR PURPOSE

ALAQ is built around modest dressing without sacrificing refinement. We look for abayas that feel composed, elegant and easy to wear — pieces that respect modesty while still feeling distinctive.
Our goal is not to follow every passing trend. It is to offer pieces that feel relevant, polished and comfortable enough to become part of a woman's real wardrobe.
BEHIND ALAQ
A Personal Beginning.
ALAQ started from two things I genuinely love: abayas and business. I have always appreciated abayas for the way they combine modesty, elegance and presence, and I wanted to build something of my own around that.
After a period that required a lot of patience and persistence, ALAQ became more than an idea. Building it gave me something meaningful to focus on and a space to create a business that reflects what I value: modesty, refinement and simplicity.
